Position Summary:
The Church Mission Administrator leads staff and key volunteers in
fulfilling
the Church’s mission. This role supports
the Rector in ensuring effective development and execution of key programs
in Christian education, Youth programs, new members, and the Church’s
individual ministries. The role ensures effective and coherent communication
strategies are developed and implemented to inform and engage parishioners
and the community. The role effectively integrates all of the Church’s
programs and initiatives and ensures that parishioners are engaged in
the life and work of the Church.
Key Result Areas:
Ensure effective alignment and integration of the Church’s ministries
Maintain and publish accurate Parish calendar
Develop and implement effective communications strategy
Publish quality service bulletins and effective communication for programs,
projects and campaigns
Develop and implement effective Christian education programs
Develop and implement effective Youth strategy
Ensure effective leadership is in place for each of the Church’s ministries
Ensure Church’s ministries are effective and quality programs are developed
and executed
Ensure new members are recruited and retained
Ensure volunteer leaders are recruited and retained
Effective Rector support
Staff and volunteer leadership effectiveness
Staff and volunteer development
Skills and Experience:
Background in Christian Education and Youth programs
Strong leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications
Effective administrative, planning and organizational skills
Effective interpersonal and influencing skills
Experience in recruiting and managing volunteers
Experience in leading and managing staff
Effective project management skills
